You Can Write Effective SEO Articles
Posted by: | CommentsYou Can Write Effective SEO Articles
SEO stands for search engine optimization. It refers to ways of promoting a site so that it comes out at the top of the listings for relevant search engine searches. SEO is a comprehensive set of actions that can make a real difference to your site’s traffic.
Basically, there are two parts to SEO. The first part is the optimization of the site design. It has to be easy to navigate and it has to have good content. Both of these things are important. This article is about the nuts and bolts of SEO articles, what their effects are, and how your site can improve its visibility by using them.
SEO articles are articles that are written so that search engine crawlers have an easy time of it indexing the pages of a website. Sometimes referred to as “reprint articles,” they require a good grounding in knowledge about how search engines function, and about the words people use when they perform searches.
A good SEO article must contain relevant keyword phrases. You want to have three keyword phrases per page, and each must appear more than twice on a page so that the total number of keywords is as high as possible without making the article sound like nonsense, or as if it is “stuffed” with keywords.
If you’re writing an SEO article, you need to know what people are looking for, and what search terms they use when they are searching for something on the Internet. You need to be able to get inside the typical web surfer’s mind and focus on topics that are genuinely of interest to them. If you do this well, your article will come out at the top of the search engine results.
There are other considerations that are necessary for writing SEO articles. Are the paragraphs too long? Is the language overly technical and inaccessible? Are you giving your visitor any reason to stay around? Good content is something that you just can’t fake. Relevant keywords matched to great content will keep the reader around long enough to click on an ad or buy a service or product you make.
Sometimes keyword stuffed articles manage to come out at the top of the rankings, but if there is no decent content underlying it, visitors won’t bother reading further. This can in fact turn users off from ever visiting that site again. That’s why it is critical that an SEO article treads the fine line of having plenty of relevant keywords while being interesting and lucidly written.
If you have good content, then the efforts you make toward promoting it will eventually pay off. While keyword stuffing and poor quality content with tons of links might rocket a site to the top of the search engine rankings, it will not stay there for long. But a content-rich site that is relevant and well written is an investment in real growth of your site
Ways Not to Get Backlinks
Posted by: | CommentsBack links help you make money. SEO experts realize this because back links give you higher rankings in search engines, more traffic, and hence more money. Sometimes people and businesses will purchase back links because it gets a significant boost in the search engine rankings. But there are ways to build thousands of back links for free.
Getting free back links is one of the best ways to improve your site’s Google PageRank without spending money. It does cost time, however, but you can get back links from thousands of websites, many of them high ranking sites that can help your site improve its PageRank.
Because of the time involved in this, a lot of big SEO companies won’t take the time to do it. But even though the back links are free, don’t underestimate their effectiveness. If you make a plan to consistenly build back links, you can get your Google Page Rank up to 5 fairly easily.
You have to go about it the right way to maximize the effectiveness of each link you build. It is a time consuming project, and you don’t want to waste time doing things that aren’t going to help. There are three major mistakes a lot of webmasters make when they are building up free back links. Don’t let these mistakes happen on your watch.
Spending Time on Nofollow Links
Some blogs and forums today have tags called the “nofollow” tag. It tells the search engine spiders not to follow the links in the site. So if you get a back link from some site with a nofollow tag, the search engines won’t pick it up, and it won’t count. There is some debate as to whether these count as links, it is unclear enough that you probably shouldn’t waste your time going after links from nofollow sites. There is an SEO add-on from Firefox that will highling nofollow links automatically. You can download it for Firefox for free.
Reciprocal Links
OK, it is entirely possible for there to be reciprocal links that neither you nor the other site plan. That occasional occurrence won’t hurt you, but link farms where you build up reciprocal links (a sort of “You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours” scenario) are losing their clout because Google is catching on to this practice. It’s easy to get lots of links from a link farm, but they matter less with each passing day. A one-way link from a site to yours carries more weight, and though it’s easy to get back links from link farms, it is probably a waste of time.
Irrelevant Links
The Google PageRank algorithm continues to improve and outsmart the latest attempts to trick it. One thing it does now is determine relevancy of links. Anchor text is the highlighted text on a page that contains the actual link. This allows Google to compare the anchor text to what the link actually goes to. That helps them determine if the back link is relevant by being based on keywords, plus the relevancy of the sites it links to and from. Back links from anchor text are worth more than other back links.
You want to get the maximum benefit from every back link you get. It takes a lot of time to build up a nice cushion of free back links, and it should be an ongoing process. But if you can avoid the three mistakes of avoiding nofollow links, avoiding link farms, and avoiding irrelevant links, you’ll get the most out of the back links you are able to get. Keep on building them, and your PageRank will go up, and so will your site’s income.
SEO for WordPress
Posted by: | CommentsIt seems that everybody has a WordPress blog these days. Most of them are not optimized for search engine ranking, and not all need to be. But if you want to make your WordPress blog more popular in the search engines, here are a few tips on how to do that.
1. Though your blog’s home page probably gets more traffic than any of the other pages, you can increase your blog’s visibility and traffic even more by doing a little optimizing on the home page. Choose one or two keyword phrases for your home page by using a keyword research tool. Google AdWords has one of the more popular keyword research tools. If you choose really good keywords and phrases, you could get thousands of searches each month on them, and your blog shouldn’t have too much competition for them. Put the keyword phrases in the title tag, the meta description, and sprinkle them throughout your content. Be careful not to make your site look as if it has been “stuffed” with keywords. Search engines are learning to penalize keyword stuffing.
2. Set up your permalinks for SEO. Every time you publish a blog post, it has a permanent URL that is called, not surprisingly, a permalink. You can optimize your permalinks by going to the Settings menu on your dashboard, choosing the Permalinks menu, then using a setting like http://yourdomain/category/post title. When you do this, your blog post category and its title will show up in the URL rather than as a string of numbers.
3. Ideally, you should find a “long tail” keyword phrase that is low on competition. You can come up with one even before you make the blog post. Use a keyword tool like Google’s and search for a low-competition keyword that has a “long tail,” meaning, something that’s not too “of the moment.” If this keyword or key phrase has a few hundred monthly searches, then it is more likely to be a “long tail” keyword. Use a different key phrase for every blog post, then make sure you put the phrase into the title and include it two or three times in the post body.
4. One of the main keys to improving search engine ranking is to build as many legitimate links as possible back to your blog. But don’t use a paid links scheme or “link farms.” The main search engines penalize this practice when they find out you’re using it. Get legitimate links with article marketing, directory submission, commenting on other blogs, and social bookmarking.
5. If you install the Google XML Sitemap plug-in, it will help ensure that the search engines index every post and every page. Using the Google XML Sitemap plug-in is simple. While this won’t do a lot for your immediate search engine ranking, it will help over the long term.
6. The All-in-One SEO pack plugin (or one similar) lets you add custom titles, keyword tags, and meta descriptions for each post and page. Every little bit helps.
7. Bookmark every post with social bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon or Digg. A service called Social Marker, and a similar service called OnlyWire will give you the capability to submit your site to a number of social bookmarking service at the same time. This will help build both traffic and back links.
Implementing any of these alone will do some good, but not much. SEO should be a comprehensive effort so you can build your site’s visibility using many methods.
Tools That You Must Posses To be successful In Affiliate Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsIn a ship sailing, a person who would like to be able to mould their destiny with their own hands don’t just merely accept the fact that he is a passenger in the sailing ship; he must have the desire in sailing the ship himself to be able to take it wherever he wants to go. Everybody dreams of the same thing, and having the knowledge to steer the wheel themselves, gives them the possibility of doing what they actually want.
By chance, this could be the main reason why more people give in to the one of the most appealing online businesses of all times – affiliate marketing. This is for the same reason that in this business, you do not have to worry about the orders of your boss. This time around you do not have to worry about deadlines too. All that is needed here are the tools for the business itself and then the marketer is now bound to what his ultimate desires are.
So you might be thinking what would then be needed to be able to bring home the bacon in affiliate marketing? What should a marketer posses to be able to achieve the best in this industry? We are aware that the competition is vast when it comes to affiliate marketing; and to be able to achieve the best in this industry, one should be able to posses the right things necessary to move forward. There are for about five things that a marketer must posses to stand out from the rest.
First, as a marketer who wants to succeed in affiliate marketing, one must posses the willingness to gain knowledge and to be disciplined by training. Walking through a foreign territory with not much knowledge about what is in store for you and not being properly equipped with what you need is like being lost in the wilderness. Knowing what is behind all this is an advantage for you, and knowing what it takes to win the game would be far more advantageous on your part and your business.
Next is that you must have the willingness to commit some of your time and effort even if there are no evident results yet. Even if you find that the results are not that much transparent yet, you should be more patient and take time to wait. This would then be a quality that would prevent you from dropping out after all of those investments that you have already given in the business.
And then after, one must have self-determination. Determination is that much needed in affiliate marketing. Every affiliate marketer should never say die, and must motivate oneself to seek for better opportunities to make himself and his business grow.
Now, the fourth quality is having enough discipline. One should know his limitations and teach himself to work consistently everyday with all his effort. In doing this, one will be that close to achieving what his heart desires.
Lastly, is having that much optimism in life. Gossips or negative attitudes should not hinder an affiliate marketer’s aim to succeed in life and make other’s lives better. He should not be influenced by anybody towards what he can do for the business and what he cannot, because he should stick with the fact that he is the captain of the ship, and only his decisions are final.
The keys to success in affiliate marketing are many and vary, however what is important is what lies to the affiliate marketer himself. He is the only one capable of realizing what would be his prediction of the course of his desire so he can keep his business running.
In affiliate marketing, one should know how to handle fate through his own hands. Having the right mind-set on things would allow him to steer his ship accordingly and be the captain who is certain to sail on calm waters.

How crucial is SEO for our profits?
Posted by: | CommentsEveryone in this world aims that he should get the best, but not all give in their best effort. This is one of the main causes of failure and it is pretty much the same out here when it comes to building a website. Creation of website and then expanding your business online can be a good idea but it might not give you the best results, if you do not optimize your site properly. Yes, SEO is required for gaining more exposure and letting visitors know about your site. For this purpose, it is extremely crucial to know that SEO is a part of online business which simply cannot be ignored.
If you have a great offer and want to let others know about it, what do you want to do? Do you want your offer to be lied under heaps of other similar less interesting offers or do you want to have maximum exposure for your offer to thousands of visitors, who are yet unknown of your offer? I am certainly hopeful that you might want the latter option. In that case, it is important to shift your focus to SEO. Optimize your site by building back links and creating a one-way link to other popular sites. Add your site to social bookmarking services and other directories so that you can get targeted visitors to your site. Create a unique content for your website instead of compromising with cheap quality PLR articles. Keep adding fresh content and actively participate in the comments or queries your visitors have.
And most importantly, rinse and repeat. Yes, this is actually what defines success and profit. Instead of building back links for only a day and then forgetting about SEO won’t do anything worthy for you. It is important to be patient and optimize your site regularly till you reach the number one spot in the search engines for your desired keyword. So never stop and continue SEO-ing your site to the best.
Keeping all the things in mind, it should now be clear that a properly SEO optimized site is worth at least a hundred times your non-SEO optimized site. So start to optimize your site today and watch your profits increasing exponentially.
Does SEO only mean building links?
Posted by: | CommentsAs the word SEO itself claims, it means optimization of our website or a blog so that the search engines can index them properly and we can achieve a good rank for the keywords which we want to target. Yes, back links play a crucial role while trying to optimize any site. But it is not entirely dependent on building links. First and foremost, we must realize that a back link form a page which has a Google page rank of 6 is 10 times more effective than building a back link with page rank 5. Thus, to optimize the website, it is essential to build back links on higher page ranked sites. It can give you a better position in the search engines and Google loves it!
But other than building links, there is also one important factor that decides the optimization part. And that is the keyword density. By keyword density, I refer to the percentage of the keyword used in the content of your website. Say you are targeting a keyword ‘short term loans’ then it is always advised to maintain a keyword density of 2%-4% at an average, meaning that you should use the exact keyword 2-4 times in your content of about 100 words. But there is also a twist in the tale here. If you stuff your keywords for than 6 times in a 100 word content, then the search engines might decipher your website as a spam and will probably ban you. So it is equally important to stay in the limit of 2%-4% keyword density.
Apart from the keywords, the meta tags you use also play a crucial role in SEO. It is better to use wise tags and organize the site properly. Apart from this, getting a sitemap would also boost your rankings as it helps the crawling spiders a lot and they can index maximum pages per visit to your site. Having said this, it should now be clear that only building back links won’t fetch you a top rank in Google, you need to do something extra as well for that top position.
SEO: You need patience for results to come up
Posted by: | Comments“I have been building back links since months now. I am also linking internal pages, also promoting my sites everyday but no results have been shown so far. There has only been some minor improvement and my website still lies somewhere beneath a thousand other websites. This is not working and I am going to leave SEO. I hate SEO!”
I have personally seen users like this who complain that they do not get results quickly by SEO. It is important to realize the fact that SEO is a slow process and needs proper time to show results. Building a 1000 back links in a single day would do no good for your website, instead it may raise a red flag of suspicion and your website might get banned for this. Going for only 10 back links a day in good sites with higher page rank might do wonders for you, instead! Yes, SEO does not guarantee any fast results. One has to remain motivated and be patient to optimize the site slowly and steadily. As you all know, “Rome was not built in a day!”
It is always advised to be patient especially when your site does not get a lot of exposure in the initial days of applying SEO techniques. Remember that SEO is like an exponential graph. It might take some time to start off but once it gets on, no one can stop it. If you had placed a back link of your site onto other site with a great page rank, it will continue to boost your rankings and help you stay there in the top even if other competitors come up. SEO is a powerful thing and being powerful, it is always advised to give something everyday for optimizing. Coming up with huge number of back links also gives you a penalty like ban from Google and so on. So, work step by step and lay the foundation of your website slowly and steadily so that it constructs itself into a huge monument and can resist any storms and floods!
Choosing the best domain for better SEO
Posted by: | CommentsSEO is all about optimizing your site and getting it ranked as higher as possible in different search engines. Basically, SEO of a website involves a bit of time to reflect the results. That is why it is always advised never to give up if the results do not show up too early. For those who are thinking of entering into the online world and are desperate to embark their business here in the Internet, there are few things to be looked upon before plunging into the ocean of SEO secrets.
One of such things that one must be aware of is to choose a proper domain name. As we all know, domain name is the only identity of our website when it comes to unknown visitors. A site weirdly named and which does not have any meaning in it does not appear good for visitors to hit upon. But sites with a clear and proper domain name might attract the visitors to point and they come to your site. Before choosing a domain name, one point should be absolutely clear in your mind and that is the niche on which you will be setting up your site upon. By niche, I mean general terms like health, finance, real estate etc which are further divided in different sub categories.
Anyways, that is not the part we should focus upon. We have the niche and the immediate next big thing to do is to get a keyword rich domain. The domain name must contain the information which you are trying to give out in your site. For example, a site which helps in getting you loans must have ‘loans’ somewhere in the domain name. It does not matter is you use greatloans or even something like getyourloansnow, but if you choose a domain name like loanz dot com, it might not be profitable for you so far as SEO is concerned.
It is also better to avoid hyphens in domain names as Google and most of the search engines do not like it and give them less priority than other non-hyphenated domains. Furthermore, if your main point of establishing a successful business is to stick to a long term point of view, it is better to go for a .com domain than others. Also be aware of using numbers in your domains as people might think and remember your domain as loanforyou instead of loan4you. Having said this, go grab a good domain preferably a dot com domain and yes, you have successfully climbed up the first step of SEO. Now all you should look forward to should be developing the content of your website properly and optimizing it efficiently using SEO techniques.
SEO: What’s that?
Posted by: | CommentsIf you have never heard of SEO – or have heard of it but don’t understand; please let me clear your doubts about it. Search engine optimization is what the term stands for. Now that you have deciphered the meaning, you may have a rough idea about what SEO is. Yes, it has to do with optimizing your blog or your site so that the search engines can pick them up and place your site/blog into a higher position. Now one common question which would definitely arise in your mind is… Why do we need SEO?
I can understand your feelings but in these days, you really need SEO. First of all you must be aware of the fact that when you are planning to launch your website or blog or anything online, you are competing with no less than a million websites online. Amidst such competition there is hardly any space for your website to get into the top 10 rankings of Google. Forget about top 10 ranks, there is even competition for getting your website listed in Google or other search engines these days. That is why SEO is pretty important as it determines your popularity of your site and can give you a lot of visitors.
And if you are thinking that SEO is perhaps a technical term and is not meant for those who are new into this field, then you are wrong. Yes, SEO is as simple as 1-2-3 and does not need any assistance, presuming you have the basic concepts related to SEO. It deals with building links and creating back links on other websites. The main aim of SEO is simple and crystal clear- you have to place a link back to your websites on other established websites. And yes, you also have to link the inner pages of your website as well for proper smooth traversal of your website by a visitor, who has visited your site the first time.
SEO is a wide field and the method given here to optimize your site may seem easy but it is like tip of an iceberg. For more details on proper SEO-ing your site, you need to gather some more knowledge and implement them of course! So all the best, and be prepared to rank higher and higher in different search engines.
